Junior Account Manager Hospitals - Brussels & Wallonia

For a human-centered and growing pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager who will drive the growth of the product portfolio in Brussels and Wallonia by building strong partnerships with hospital stakeholders and managing tender opportunities.


Permanent contract

Sector: Pharmaceutical — Neurology, Urology, Dermatology, Gynaecology
Languages: French (Dutch and French are a plus)
Location: Brussels-Capital Region + Wallonia
 
The Opportunity
 
As a Junior Account Manager, you are responsible for maximising the growth of our product portfolio in the Brussels and Wallonia region. You build sustainable relationships with hospital decision-makers, strengthen the market position of our products, and manage public tender procedures.
 
You are highly self-driven, work independently, and take full ownership of your region without requiring constant supervision.
 
What Will Your Day Look Like?
 
Strategy & Account Management
 
› Develop and implement strategic Key Account plans aligned with the company’s objectives
› Identify growth opportunities and translate them into concrete actions
› Monitor sales performance and budgets to deliver cost-effective results
› Conduct market analyses and track competitor activities
 
Hospital Relations & Tenders
 
› Proactively engage with prescribers and hospital decision-makers to drive sales
› Negotiate contracts and prepare tender submissions, highlighting the unique value of our products
› Initiate new tender procedures in collaboration with the tender team
› Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
 
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
 
› Act as the primary contact between customers and the company, providing valuable feedback
› Implement efficient regional structures and processes
› Communicate proactively with management regarding opportunities, risks and market developments
 
Your Profile
 
Education & Experience
 
› Degree in a medical, paramedical or scientific field
› Proven experience in account management and relationship building
› Experience with tender procedures and hospital sales is a strong asset
 
Skills & Competencies
 
› Strong sense of responsibility, commitment and intrinsic motivation — you take full ownership of your territory
› Highly independent: you plan, organise and report without constant supervision
› Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
› Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
› Resilient under pressure, emotionally stable and capable of working with urgency
› Analytical mindset: able to interpret market data and translate insights into action plans
› A team player who thrives in a small, agile organisation
 
Languages — Essential
 
› Perfect command of French; Dutch is an advantage for Brussels hospitals
› Fluent English, as scientific literature and studies are frequently in English
 
Other
 
› Valid driving licence (Category B)
› Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems
