Financial Manager

For a fast-growing player in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Finance Manager.

Position Overview

The Financial Manager plays a key role within the organization and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This position requires close collaboration with the finance team and various operational departments.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance
• Provide accurate financial reports to the Managing Director while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best management practices.
• Prepare a monthly Profit & Loss statement (P&L).

2. Cash Management & Treasury
• Manage liquidity, debt, financing, and banking relationships.

3. Budgeting and Financial Planning
• Develop budgets in collaboration with the Financial Controller, taking into account financial objectives and purchasing strategies.
• Perform analyses on profitability, margins, and financial balance, optimizing purchasing costs to improve the overall performance of the company.

4. Management of Financial Operations and Strategic Procurement
• Lead major financial operations and investments while integrating procurement management into strategic planning.
• Assess financial and supply risks related to large investment projects, ensuring careful management of financial and material resources.

5. Capital Management and Stakeholder Relations
• Optimize capital management and cash flow according to financial needs and purchasing commitments.

6. Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong expertise in finance and procurement management.
• Advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial risks and sourcing strategies.
• Leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Bilingualism in French and Dutch is a plus.
