Account Manager Industry

You will build long-term relationships with large industrial accounts across Belgium, develop new business opportunities, and demonstrate the added value of our solutions.


About the role

 
As the trusted representative of the brand, you will confidently communicate the value of our products and solutions.
You will be responsible for managing and growing major accounts within the Professional Hygiene market in Belgium. Your focus will be on acquiring new industrial customers while further developing existing accounts.
 
 
Your responsibilities
 
You will be part of the Benelux Sales team, consisting of nine Account Managers and Key Account Managers, reporting directly to the Sales Manager Professional Hygiene Benelux.
Close collaboration with colleagues in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg is essential to succeed in this role.
 
 
Your responsibilities include
 
  • Managing both direct and indirect sales activities.
  • Prospecting and developing selected key accounts.
  • Preparing short- and long-term sales plans and strategies, supported by available sales and marketing programs, to achieve business targets.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and terms with customers.
  • Introducing new products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Organising customer visits to drive business growth.
  • Demonstrating excellent product knowledge and developing a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key industrial customers.
 
You will work from the offices in Diegem or Zeist (the Netherlands) one to two times per month. The remainder of your time will be spent visiting customers or working from home.
 
 
Your profile
 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Several years of successful B2B field sales experience with major accounts.
  • Strong relationship builder combined with a proven hunter mentality.
  • Experience in the industrial and/or facility management sector is a strong advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly CRM, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in project management and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and solution-oriented personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong empathy.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English (in that order of importance).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Independent, analytical and able to perform well under pressure.
