Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (Liège – Namur East – Luxembourg – GDL)

For our client, a fast-growing company specializing in innovative nutraceuticals, we are looking for a motivated representative with a strong network in the pharmacy sector, eager to contribute to their growth in Wallonia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing sustainable relationships with dynamic and driven pharmacists.


Your Mission

 

As a Pharmacy Sales Representative, you are responsible for driving sales and increasing market share within your region. You are the company’s face in the pharmacy world: combining commercial flair with scientific expertise, you translate the company’s strategy into concrete actions in the field.
You work autonomously, planning and managing your own visits, while actively contributing to the team’s overall objectives.

 

Your Responsibilities


Commercial Development & Sales

  • Visit pharmacies in your region to stimulate sales and grow market share.
  • Introduce products to new clients and ensure strong brand positioning in pharmacies.
  • Launch new products in high-potential categories and translate marketing strategies into actionable commercial plans on the ground.
  • Plan and organize customer visits according to a strategic frequency, aligned with the potential and specific needs of each point of sale.
  • Implement and defend the company’s sales and marketing strategy, focusing on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Support pharmacies in executing trade marketing initiatives and advise on optimal visibility, merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze pharmacy potential, adjust time management based on expected turnover, and optimize the profitability of your territory.
  • Share market insights and opportunities.
  • Actively promote the company’s image and values, ensuring long-lasting and high-quality relationships with pharmacies and partners.

 

Strategic & Analytical Thinking

  • Analyze market data, sales results, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with your manager and colleagues to develop strategies that achieve growth objectives.
  • Segment customers and prioritize based on potential and ROI.
  • Monitor results and adjust strategies as needed.

 

Scientific & Relationship Role

  • Clearly and credibly communicate product information and scientific insights to pharmacists and their teams.
  • Build lasting professional relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities, and report them to the marketing and product teams.

 

Administration & Reporting

  • Accurately and timely record visits, orders, and observations in the CRM system.
  • Report activities, market insights, and competitor movements.

 

Your Profile

  • Higher education, preferably in a (para)medical or scientific field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
  • Strong commercial and communication skills, with proven results in direct sales.
  • Ability to translate complex or scientific information into clear commercial arguments.
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and analytical mindset.
  • Flexible, autonomous, and skilled in planning your own work.
  • True team player, eager to share knowledge and collaborate on common goals.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Fluent in French; knowledge of Dutch and/or English is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and conduct in every interaction.
